TEAM LIFE!

You just submitted your confirmed New York City Marathon entry and it is your first marathon ever, you start thinking.. “OK, now what do I do?” Or maybe you are competing in a triathlon…you just got out of a hectic swim transition and you are not feeling comfortable on the bike just yet. You're searching for something to give you that push and get you into rhythm. All of a sudden, a friendly voice is coming up on your left "lets go, you know this hill, we’ve done this in practice two weeks ago!" You look over your shoulder and it is one of your training buddies giving you that emotional and mental push that you need, your comforted by their words, you find your gearing, you find your stride, you find your rhythm… you found your team! TEAM LIFE! is the T&R ENDURANCE SPORTS multisport team: A group of like minded runners and triathletes with similar goals whether it is to complete their first half marathon, sprint triathlon, training for the Boston Marathon, or celebrating training for their tenth Ironman.
TEAM LIFE! is an ongoing team training program to reduce the possible isolation of endurance sports. Not many of us have friends who want to join us for our three hour bike ride or 10 mile run when we are training for events. Some people actually go to the beach never to let their skin touch the water, can you believe that? Training will change with the seasons but so will the challenges, you never know when you might look to enter a mid winter 10k or half marathon.
TEAM LIFE! trains on a weekly basis mixing up a variety of workouts and trainings to supplement each members personal training goals. Whether it is a long run, open water swim, three hour ride, we will do it as a team.
Not only does TEAM LIFE! train a minimum of two days a week together, but here is a secret about the cost to be on the team...it's free. Yeah, can you believe that?! While other teams charge an initial fee, and then have the pineapples to charge an annual fee, we here at T&R ENDURANCE SPORTS welcome your enthusiasm for endurance sports, not look to nickel and dime you every time you want to train. So, be a part of the best the brightest, the most colorful, and most compassionate team wearing spandex, we are all one big happy family here!

I have always seen Brooklyn as a beautiful place to run and enjoy healthy activities. We are the home of world famous bridges, scenery, views, history, people, and language (hey, fugedabowdit!). With ample challenging trails, Brooklyn neighborhoods offer beautiful training opportunities that could entice any athlete: the rolling hills of Shore Road (2 miles), local high school metered tracks, Prospect Park, the many bridges, Ocean Parkway, Dyker Heights golf course (2.25 miles), the steps of 74th and 76th street, and the picturesque 4.5 mile Shore Road Promenade just to name a few. It seems there is riding and running to be had just about everywhere. Our coaches train and race all over the world. Our team (TEAM LIFE) even more so. Join in on the fun. Become a part of the movement called TEAM LIFE.. your Life will thank you!
